The Midwest AVS Symposium and International IUVSTA Highlight seminar
focuses on recent advances in a number of fields related to vacuum science
and technology. These areas include applied surface science, electronic materials
and processing, nanometer structures, plasma science and technique, surface science,
surface engineering, thin films, and vacuum science and technology. The International
Union for Vacuum Science Technique and Applications is a union of 32 national member
societies whose role is to stimulate international collaboration in the fields of vacuum
science, techniques and applications and related multi-disciplinary topics including
solid-vacuum and other interfaces.
Every three years, the IUVSTA sponsors a Highlights Seminar in which specialists from each of the technical divisions discuss the latest important results across the fields of interest relevant to each division. This year, in addition, a number of invited speakers are also included. Contributed abstracts are welcome. To submit an abstract please follow the link below.
